Who Am I?

I’m a full-time geek, part-time superhero (at least in my choice of shirts), and currently an Engineering Manager helping make technology smarter, more secure, and more fun.

Whether I’m guiding a team of brilliant engineers or tackling complex problems, I’m all about crafting elegant solutions that leave a lasting impact. These days, I’m focused on safeguarding privacy—because protecting users and earning their trust is just how I roll.

The Numbers Game (Because Adults Love Numbers, Right?)

Inspired by 'The Little Prince' and its playful take on the adult obsession with numbers, here are some digits that define my journey so far:

1: The number of times I graduated as the top student in my class at Brazil’s top university (okay, it was the only time, but it was awesome).

4.5: The years it took me to complete a 5-year undergraduate degree—because who has time to wait for a diploma when there’s so much cool stuff to build?

2: The number of awards I snagged for my undergraduate thesis on EEG analysis. Who knew brainwaves could be so rewarding?

1: The Master’s degree I earned in signal processing and machine learning, where I built a Speech Synthesis System for Portuguese—proving that machines can talk, and they can do it in style.

14: The years I’ve spent in Software Engineering, with 11 of those years dedicated to projects all across Brazil, from apps that fit in your pocket to systems that span continents.

9: The programming languages I’ve mastered (and counting). If coding were a sport, I’d probably be a decathlete.

4: The languages I can speak: English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and Spanish. Because sometimes, you need more than one way to say, "Hello, World!"

What’s Next?

When I’m not working on securing the digital world or brainstorming ways to innovate, you’ll find me buried in a good book—most likely The Little Prince—or dreaming up the next big tech trend.

I’m all about building teams, fostering innovation, and pushing boundaries to shape a future that’s secure, inclusive, and fun. Because at the end of the day, why shouldn’t we enjoy the ride while we’re building the next big thing?
